WE ARE BACK!
Live Event: International Women’s day 2023. A specific focus on the pressing issues affecting women and girls around the world.
TAKOW NETWORK
Takow Network has been tackling this issue, delivering events and creating spaces for Women from Black , Asian and ethnic minority communities for the last five years. Takow Network has successfully delivered over forty events for young girls in the UK for free.
Our most successful event was the annual International Women’s Day event. We have had over 120 girls join us, all ready for inspirational talks and networking opportunities. No Profit was made by the events organised for the girls. The network functions purely based on volunteers.
There is high demand for Takow Network events, our events are growing year by year and reaching out to more young women from minority backgrounds.
Over 500 young women have attended the Takow Network events. From our workshops to educational events, almost all our events were sold out.
